"Islamic Art Week" Mega Art Sale Held in London

A single-owner collection of 50 lots amassed by Dr Mohammed Said Farsi forms the core of Christie's auction. It includes a 12th-century Fatimid carved wooden panel estimated at £400,000-£600,000 and a remarkable eight-inch Mughal parrot (pictured) made from enamelled gold set with emeralds, rubies and diamonds, tipped to fetch a similar sum.
