Caught on camera, moment drummer slumped on his kit and died from heart attack mid-way through concert

This is the moment an American drummer keeled over from a heart attack and died mid-concert. Brad Parker, 59, was performing with his band Generation Esmeralda in the Brazilian city of Uba on Saturday evening when he slumped over his drum-kit during the show. Footage aired on Brazilian television shows friends and medics rushing towards him to check if he is all right. But despite later being rushed to hospital in the Minas Gerais state city and receiving medical attention, he could not be saved. Sergio Lopes, a producer for the group in Brazil, said: 'Doctors performed all the emergency procedures but unfortunately there was no solution.' His body will be flown back to his home in California later this week, Globonews reported. Generation Esmeralda is a disco group formed by ex-members of Santa Esmeralda, a Franco-U.S. 1970s outfit. The original band had hits with You're My Everything, Sevilla Nights and Another Cha Cha.
